Solstråler støtter mange barn i Puttaparthi til skolegang. På bildet ser dere de barna som Solstråler støtter som går på Prasanthi E.M.School. Sigrun, Solstrålers leder, som er i India nå, står sammen med dem. Solstråler støtter også barn på andre skoler, ungdomsskoler, videregående skoler og universiteter.

Solstraaler enables many children in Puttaparthi, to attend school. On the photo above you can see the children, which Solstraaler is helping, that attend Prasanthi E.M. School. Sigrun, the manager of Solstraaler, who is in India now, is standing with them. Solstraaler also supports children that attend to other schools, both high school, intermediate school and college.

Disse to jenter er søstre og de kom til USHODAYA denne uken. Alle er glade for å ha dem boende hos oss.

These to girls are sisters and they came to USHODAYA this week. Everyone is happy to have them staying with us.

Et år / One year

Den 3.februar feiret vi at det er et år siden vi åpnet USHODAYA HOME for jenter i Puttaparthi. Vi inviterte våre naboer og venner.

February 3rd we celebrated that there is one year since we opened our USHODAYA HOME for girls in Puttaparthi. We invited our neighbors and friends.

Tur til Nandi Hills / A trip to Nandi Hills

Siste sundag inviterte Solstråler alle jentene i Ushodaya og alle som jobber der på en tur til Nandi Hills. Det er 2 timers kjøring hver vei. Ingen av jentene hadde vært der før og alle var kjempe fornøyde med turen. Vi hadde med oss mat og vi tilbrakte hele dagen der.

Last Sunday Solstraaler invited all the girls and staff in Ushodaya to a trip to Nandi Hills. It was 2 hours drive each way. None of the girls had been there before and they all enjoyed it very much. We took lunch with us and we stayed there all day.
