Solstråler ønsker å kjøpe et hus som står i utkanten av Puttaparthi for å drive et hjem for vanskeligstilte jenter. Jentene kan komme mens de er små og før de blir vant til å tigge. Da har vi en stor mulighet for å redde dem og å gi dem mulighet til å ha et verdig liv. Fra fireårs alderen kan de gå på skolen vår (Prasanthi English Medium School). Skolebussen går forbi huset på vei til skolen.
Vi tenker å ha tolv jenter og to «mødre». Jentehjemmet skal drives som et vanlig hjem hvor mødrene gjør husarbeid mens jentene er på skolen og gjør sosiale ting med dem etter skole og evt. lekser.
Dette blir gjort i samarbeid med en indisk organisasjon som tar på seg ansvaret overfor indiske myndigheter og som følger indiske lover og regler for slike hjem. Solstråler finansierer driften med sponsormidler fra barnas faddere.
Solstråler trenger å finansiere kjøp av huset og går nå i gang med finne sponsorer til det. Vi har tro på at det vil lykkes. 🙂
Solstraaler want to buy a house that is on the outskirts of Puttaparthi to serve as a home for girls in difficult situations. The girls will come when they are young before they get used to begging. Then we have a greater chance to save them and to give them the possibility of having a good life. From the age of four years they can go to our school (Prasanthi English Medium School). The school bus will go past the house on the way to the school.
We plan to have twelve girls and two “mothers”. The house will be run like a normal home where the mothers do the housework while the girls are at school and do social things with them after school and help them with their homework, if they have any.
This will be done in cooperation with an Indian organization that will have the responsibility with regards to the Indian authorities, like following Indian laws and rules for such homes. Solstraaler will finance the operation with funds from the children’s sponsors.
Solstraaler need to finance the purchase of the house and are starting the task of finding sponsors for this. We believe that we will succeed. 🙂
